What Happens if the Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
Living in the Pacific Northwest means weather can change quickly. Our goal is to deliver the best possible media while keeping everyone safe.
In most cases, we're able to photograph properties even when it's raining.
Rainy Weather
Light or moderate rain does not usually require rescheduling.
Our editing team can often enhance media by:
- Replacing overcast skies
- Brightening exterior images
- Reducing or removing wet pavement where appropriate
Because rainy weather is common in the Pacific Northwest, we continue photographing most appointments as scheduled.
Many of the exterior images you see in our portfolio were photographed on rainy days and professionally enhanced during editing.
Aerial Photography & Twilight Sessions
Some services are more dependent on weather conditions.
Heavy rain, strong winds, or poor visibility may affect:
- Drone Photography
- Drone Video
- Twilight Photography
If these services cannot be completed safely or to our quality standards, we'll work with you to determine the best next step.

Give us a call a few days before your shoot. We're happy to discuss the forecast, how it may affect your media, and whether keeping or rescheduling your appointment makes the most sense.
Severe Weather
Your safety and the safety of our photographers always comes first.
If weather conditions make travel unsafe, such as:
- Snow
- Ice
- Hazardous road conditions
- Active wildfire or evacuation warnings
we'll contact you to reschedule your appointment at no additional charge.

We contact you about things we know about. There can be a massive difference between what's going on in the gorge and the mountain passes. Please let us know if there is an issue in your area.
Planning Around the Forecast
If you're hoping for specific weather conditions, such as bright sunshine or clear mountain views, we recommend watching the forecast several days before your appointment.
If you'd like to reschedule because of the expected weather, contacting us before the 24-hour cancellation window gives you the most flexibility and helps avoid applicable rescheduling fees.

Clear Skies & Mountain Views
While we always strive to capture the property at its best, we cannot guarantee sunny skies, clear weather, or mountain visibility.
Even on beautiful days, low clouds or weather patterns may obscure mountain views on the day of your appointment.
Because these conditions are outside anyone's control, appointments are scheduled based on availability rather than specific weather conditions.
