Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Need to reschedule, cancel, or put an appointment on hold?
We understand that plans can change.
Our goal is always to help you avoid unnecessary fees whenever possible.
Here's what to know about rescheduling, cancellation fees, and courtesy waivers.
Standard Policy
Appointments can be cancelled, rescheduled, or placed on hold as needed. In some situations, photographer fees may apply based on when the request is received.
| Notice Given | Associated Fees |
| ➕ More than 24 hours' notice | No fee |
| ➖ Less than 24 hours' notice | $75 per photographer |
| 🏠 On-site |
$125 per photographer The original extended travel fee applied to the canceled appointment |
Courtesy Waiver
We understand that unexpected situations happen. In some cases, we may waive a fee as a one-time courtesy. Courtesy waivers are reviewed individually and aren't guaranteed.
On-Site Changes
Once your photographer has arrived, changing or cancelling the appointment will result in an on-site fee. Any applicable extended travel fees already incurred will also apply because time has been reserved and travel has already occurred.
How to Avoid Fees
- Contact us as soon as possible. If it's after hours, we honor email and text timestamps.
- Let us know if weather or property access has changed.
- The earlier we're notified, the more options we have.
🎓 Ruum Pro Tip
We base the timing of the request on timestamps for emails, text messages, and voicemails. After-hours requests or down-to-the-minute requests will be calculated based on the timestamp.
